Recently, I observed school children on a picnic leaving behind a trail of plastic bottles, wrappers, and cans, completely ruining the aesthetic and environmental sanity of a public park. This disturbing sight highlights a critical gap in our education system. Both parents and schools play an indispensable role in shaping a child’s character. It is not enough to teach academics; we must emphasize civic responsibility. To sensitize students, schools should actively involve them in community cleanliness projects and eco-clubs.
