Quotation
“The glory of the nation rests in the character of her men. And character comes from boyhood. Thus every boy is a challenge to his elders.”
Herbert Hoover
The idea behind the quotation
A nation’s strength depends on the character of its men, which begins in childhood, so adults have a responsibility to guide every boy well.
